Gamba Osaka demolish Kashiwa Reysol in Japan

Gamba Osaka continued their free-scoring run when they defeated Kashiwa Reysol 4-0 in the J-League. It was their third victory on the trot and sees them move to third on the league table.

Brazilian star Leandro opened the account in the 12th minute and the lead was soon doubled by Jae-Jin Cho who made it 2-0 before the 20-minute mark.

The second half began well for the home side with Hayato Sasaki adding a third a minute after the re-start and an 86th minute goal from Ryuji Bando completed the rout.

The loss sees Kashiwa drop to second last on the table, having taken just nine points from 11 matches.
