Former AC Milan GM Adriano Galliani admits Zlatan Ibrahimovic was sold by the Rossonero against his will.

The 38 year-old striker has joined Milan for a second time after coming off contract at LA Galaxy. He originally left Milan in 2012 for PSG.

Current Monza director Galliani revealed: "Ibra certainly did not want to leave Milan.

"He was sold to balance the books. He was always the one who decides his destiny, except on this occasion.

"Together, we won the Scudetto in his first year, the last before Juventus began their record marathon, and the Italian Super Cup in 2011."
