AC Milan vice-president Adrian Galliani is prepared to be patient over the signing of Manchester City rebel Carlos Tevez.
City have refused to release Tevez on loan without a mandatory buy-out clause.
"Will Tevez be a Christmas present for the fans? It's tough in a period of economic difficulty, but we will try to keep the supporters happy," Vice-President Galliani told Sky Sport Italia.
"If Tevez does not arrive, then we will stay as we are."
