Former AC Milan goalkeeper Giovanni Galli says Gigio Donnarumma is as good as any keeper in the world.

Donnaruma has been outstanding for the Rossonero this season.

Galli told Gazzetta dello Sport: "If 5 or 6 years ago (Manuel) Neuer was the strongest goalkeeper in the world, I believe that now Gigio is beside him, if not above him.

"He is extraordinary, especially in relation to his age: precisely for this reason that makes an impression.

"He has personality and is fundamental: you must always see the goalkeeper, whether you are in your area or in the opponent's area. He is always inside the game, ready when you need him. He is the equivalent of Ibra up front: he feels great at goal, he gives the feeling that scoring against him is impossible."

And about his future, Galli added: "I would tell him: where are you going abroad? To Juve? You can carry Milan on your shoulders for another 15 years, you can be the man who changes history."
