Galetti: Roma will shop in Premier League for new centre-half

AS Roma plan to shop in the Premier League for new centre-half in January.

The Giallorossi have dropped plans to shop in the free agency market for a new defender and instead will focus on buying in January.

Tribalfootball.com's transfer expert Rudy Galetti is reporting Roma intend to work the Premier League market to find a new centre-half addition.

He stated: "After talking to some free players, AS Roma have decided not to buy any new centre-back.

"In the coming weeks, new contacts are expected with agents of (Victor) Lindelof (MUTD), Japhet Tanganga (THFC) and Trevoah Chalobah (CFC) to understand the chances for January."

Galetti also revealed: "For Roma, in recent days some free agent centre-backs have been proposed: among these, Maksimovic, Zagadou and Denayer."
