Galatasaray president Duygun Yarsuvat claims Chelsea made an offer for Wesley Sneijder in January. Sneijder won the treble at Inter Milan with Blues manager Jose Mourinho.
Yarsuvat told GS TV: "Chelsea made an offer for Wesley Sneijder at the start of the season.
"He could have been beside Jose Mourinho, that is the only club he would have joined. But he's happy at Galatasaray."
