Former Everton midfielder James Rodriguez is being lined up for a return to Europe.

The Colombia international is currently playing in the Middle East with Al Rayyan, where he moved last summer from Goodison Park.

AS says a return to Europe is now being mooted, with Galatasaray keen.

Gala chiefs are in contact with agent Jorge Mendes about a deal for James.

Currently in charge at Gala is former Manchester City assistant coach Domenec Torrent.
