Galatasaray are set to compete with Liverpool for the signing of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Nuri Sahin.

The 27-year-old, who had a disappointing loan spell at Anfield in 2012/13 before moving back to Dortmund, has been linked with a shock return to the Merseyside club.

Despite Sahin's struggles with form and fitness for the last two seasons, reports suggest that Jurgen Klopp wants his former Dortmund star to reunite with him in the Premier League.

However, Turkish newspaper Sabah has reported that Galatasaray are interested in a loan move for the Turkey international.
