Fabian Delph must make a transfer request if he wants to leave Manchester City.
The Manchester Evening News says City are keen to keep Delph this summer despite countless rumours linking him with a move away from the Etihad this summer.
Delph endured a difficult campaign this past season, with injuries and form limiting him to just 20 appearances, with his final game coming in the 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League quarter-final first leg.
The 29-year-old has also seen significant competition arrive in his two main positions, left-back and defensive midfield, this summer in the form of new arrivals Angelino and Rodri.
Delph's four year stay at City could yet come to an end this summer, with Everton and Turkish giants Galatasaray being heavily linked.
