Galatasaray have confirmed they've opened talks with Everton for Henry Onyekuru.

The Nigerian attacker spent last season on-loan with Anderlecht, having been signed in the summer from Eupen.

Gala announced last night that talks had kicked off with Everton to sign Onyekuru, though offered little detail about whether it would be a loan arrangement or outright transfer.

Onyekuru still does not qualify for a UK work permit and was expected to at least spend another season away on-loan next term.

Borussia Mönchengladbach are also interested in the goalscoring winger.
