Galatasaray chairman Mustafa Cengiz has been in England this past week for talks with Manchester United.
Aksam says Cengiz flew to England last week to discuss a potential deal with United over Ozan Kabak.
But United weren't the only club Cengiz is believed to have held discussions with, the same source also claiming he held talks across the city with Manchester City.
The young Turk recently signed a new five-year deal at the Türk Telekom Stadium, potentially hiking up his price.
But Galatasaray's decision to hand Kabak a new deal is unlikely to deter the interest of the Premier League giants.
