Gaizka Garitano has signed a new deal with Athletic Bilbao.

Athletic Club have agreed terms with Garitano to extend the coach's contract to June 2020.

The 43-year-old will attend a press conference along with the club's president Aitor Elizegi and the Basques sports director Rafa Alkorta on Friday, to officially announce his renewal.

His assistant Patxi Ferreira and the goalkeeper coach Aitor Iru will also remain at the club for one more season.

Garitano replaced Eduardo Berizzo last December.
