Gael Kakuta says he should've made more of his chance at Chelsea.
The French attacker is back in Spain playing for Deportivo La Coruna.
Kakuta told Foot Mercato: "It's hard at 17-18 years of age. Then, during my loans, I had my share of responsibility. I did not really work, I did not have the mentality I have today.
"But Chelsea is one of the top five European clubs. It's still my favorite club. It's hard to impose oneself there when you're young. Of course, it is a club that buys a lot of young people and ultimately resells them.
"If the player can stay, he will stay. But you have to take advantage of going to clubs on loan to confirm yourself over time, in Chelsea or elsewhere."
