Gabriel Paulista insists he wants to stay with Valencia.

Paulista then clarified that he would be willing to play if LaLiga Santander resumes, despite expressing his belief that the season should be ended a number of weeks ago.

Before concluding, the defender spoke about his contract at Mestalla, which ends in 2022, and expressed his happiness at the club.

"I have great affection for the fans and a lot of respect for the dressing room," he said.

"I'm not thinking of leaving. I hope Valencia will call me to renew."
