Valencia defender Gabriel Paulista says Javier Hernandez would be a welcome signing.

West Ham striker Chicharito is keen on a move to Valencia, but the Irons are reluctant to allow him to leave.

Meanwhile, Gabriel says the Mexican would be welcome.

"Chicharito is a great player, if he came he would help us a lot ... but we are a great team, a great family and whether or not he joins us you will have to ask the president or the coach," he said.

Gabriel is well aware of Chicharito, having faced him while with Arsenal.
