Future of Man City Bravo remains clouded despite Confederations Cup heroics

Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo may be excelling on the international stage with Chile, but his future with his club side remains uncertain.

The former Barcelona shot-stopper saved all three of Portugal's penalties during La Roja's semi-final shootout at the Confederations Cup.

However, Bravo failed to impress in his first season in England, having conceded 26 goals in 22 Premier League appearances.

Despite his recent spike in form, City's recent acquisition of Benfica goalkeeper Ederson for a record £34m could send Bravo to the bench next season.

The 34-year old will have another match to impress manager Pep Guardiola when Chile takes on Germany in the final on Friday.
