Atletico Madrid hero Paulo Futre slammed the decision to deny Ajax a goal in their Champions League defeat to Real Madrid.

Ajax had a goal ruled out in the 38th minute by VAR.

Nicolas Tagliafico thought he had given the Dutch side the lead over the European and world champions but after VAR was consulted, it was ruled out.

Futre didn't pass up the opportunity to compare the disallowed Nicolas Tagliafico goal with that of Alvaro Morata in the recent Madrid derby.

"The second goal stolen from a Rojiblancos team in less than a week," he tweeted.

"It's clear which side the decisions fall even if there is the slightest doubt."
