Fulham boss Roy Hodgson wants to bring Hull City midfielder Dean Marney back to London.

The News of the World says Fulham are mulling over a £2.5m bid for former Tottenham midfielder Marney.

Hodgson is keen to add more energy to his midfield after Jimmy Bullard moved in the opposite direction in January.

Marney, 25, fits the bill but Fulham are set to go head-to-head with Premier League newcomers Wolves for his services.
