Fulham unlikely to block Lewington from England role

Fulham aren't expected to object should England come calling for Ray Lewington.

The Daily Mail says new England coach Roy Hodgson wants Lewington to join his backroom team.

Lewington, 55, is one of Hodgson's trusted lieutenants, having been his assistant at Craven Cottage, where he still works under Martin Jol.

Fulham already allow Academy boss Kit Symons to work with the Wales setup on a part-time basis.
