Fulham are moving for Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann.

The Sun says Fulham boss Claudio Ranieri's negotiators have so far been unable to agree a deal for Chelsea defender Gary Cahill so switched attention to Dann, who is out of Roy Hodgson's side.

Dann would give Fulham the kind of battle-hardened defender they currently lack and the deal will go ahead if they can agree terms.

If Dann does make the move to Craven Cottage that would create a permanent vacancy for Cahill at Selhurst Park.
