Fulham have jumped into the battle for Inter Milan striker Gabriel Barbosa.
The Brazilian, after an outstanding season on-loan at Santos, is up for sale at Inter for the January market.
West Ham have been regarded as favourites to land Gabigol given their relationship with his agent of Kia Joorabchian.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport says the Irons need to sell before they can buy.
And now Fulham and their new manager Claudio Ranieri have enquired after Gabigol's status.
Last month, Gabigol stated: "The Premier is a different tournament, but I think the competitiveness is very high. It's an easy championship for strikers and this can help me."
