Fulham thrash Swansea to put inch closer to promotion

Fulham completed a remarkable away thrashing of Swansea City in the Championship on Tuesday night.

The Cottagers, who have been in outstanding goal scoring form all season, let loose in the second half against the Wales-based team.

After a scoreless first-half, where Swansea went down to ten men due to Ryan Manning getting a red card, Fulham were the dominant force in the game.

Aleksandar Mitrovic got them in front in the second period, with a Ben Cabango own goal making it 2-0.

Bobby Decordova-Reid scored the third, Joel Piroe got Swansea a lifeline, but Neco Williams bagged a brace to put the game beyond doubt.

Fulham are top of the league with 76 points from 35 games, with second placed Bournemouth on 62 points from 33 games.
