Fulham are targeting Arsenal defender Calum Chambers.

The London Evening Standard says Fulham have been chasing the centre-half and hold a long-term interest in the former Southampton ace.

He may struggle for game time in the 2018/19 campaign with Sokratis Papastathopoulos poised to arrive for £16m from Borussia Dortmund.

However, new manager Unai Emery wants to check Chambers out in pre-season.

It is said the Spaniard is keen to observe the 23-year-old Englishman and see how he progresses.
