Fulham suffer double injury blow

Fulham suffered two major injures during yesterday's 2-1 home defeat by Middlesbrough.

Brian McBride opened the scoring with a routine 56th-minute strike but dislocated his left kneecap in the process of stabbing the ball home and will be out for around three months.

To compound a miserable day, Hameur Bouazza dislocated his right shoulder and is facing a three-week spell in the treatment room.

Fulham boss Lawrie Sanchez said: "It's been a bad day at the office. It started going wrong when Brian scored.

"He dislocated his kneecap and will be out for longer rather than shorter - months, though not the season.

"Hameur then dislocated his shoulder and we lost our momentum. We gave them Mido's equaliser.

"Clint Dempsey misses an open goal and then we equalise late on but it's not given."
