Fulham skipper Hangeland desperate to stay fit for relegation battle

Fulham captain Brede Hangeland hopes he can stay fit and help the club stay up.

Hangeland has recently returned from a back problem that kept him sidelined for three months.

"For me personally it has been a frustrating time with the injury, having to have surgery and missing all those games.

"I have never been injured before, it was a new experience and one that I am happy is behind me. Hopefully I will stay fit for the rest of my career now. There is a big job to be done but I am ready for that."
