Harry Wilson says a phone call with Marco Silva motivated him to join Fulham.
The Wales international departed boyhood club Liverpool in a permanent move to Craven Cottage over the weekend.
Fulham paid £12m for Wilson's signature, and the 24-year-old wants to fire them back into the Premier League.
"I'm delighted to sign for Fulham," Wilson said.
"The ambition of the club to get back into the Premier League appealed to me as that's where we all want to be.
"From my first chat with the gaffer on the phone, I loved what he was saying and felt that he understood me as a player, and that played a massive role in me coming here.
