Kerim Frei is set to soon return to action with Fulham.
The 18-year old Swiss-Turkish midfielder has been sidelined with a pelvis injury he sustained on international duty with Turkey and has been unable to take the field for the Cottagers after 25 appearances last term.
But after returning to training, Frei is confident he will soon be back in Martin Jol's first team at Craven Cottage.
"Last week on Thursday I started training again. We've been making sure that I didn't come back too fast in case the injury came back," the youngster told Fulham's official website.
"We did some little games on Tuesday - three lots of 20 minutes - and everything was fine so hopefully I will be back in the team soon.
"I missed playing football very much, I missed having the ball at my feet and things like that but I'm very happy to be back and I'm looking forward to playing my part in the season ahead."
