Fulham risk losing Sessegnon for £500,000 if they don't cash in now

Fulham risk losing Ryan Sessegnon for £500,000 next summer.

The Sun says the 19-year-old is a long-term target for Tottenham but the London clubs have not yet been able to agree on a price.

Sessegnon would likely cost Spurs around £35million if they pluck him from Craven Cottage before the start of the new season.

But Spurs will want to negotiate that figure down on the basis that Sessegnon has just 12 months left to run on his current contract.

And Fulham may be pressured into lowering their demands as The Sun claim that Sessegnon is willing to run down his contract and then hold talks with Inter Milan in January.

Borussia Dortmund are also said to be keen on Sessegnon, who would be free to talk to foreign clubs in January with a view to making a move next summer.

Worryingly for Fulham, they would only be due £500,000 in training compensation if Sessegnon were to leave for an overseas club a year from now.
