Fulham have recorded a 3-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers to return to the winners list at Craven Cottage in the Premier League.
Despite the visitors keeping most of Fulham's forward advances at bay and creating their own chances, they found themselves a goal down in the 43rd minute when Erik Nevland managed to squeeze one past Paul Robinson at the near post.
Blackburn had more of the ball in their possession throughout proceedings but the Cottagers were much more efficient and doubled their advantage in the 67th minute when USA international Clint Dempsey tapped in from close range.
Dempsey made it 3-0 just before the final whistle when he slotted past Robinson after holding off Keith Andrews at the near post to send the Cottagers back to 10th on the league table as the Rovers slipped down a spot to 12th.
