Fulham push for Roma keeper Stekelenburg

Fulham are moving for AS Roma goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.

The Daily Mail says they have mulled over various other targets while Stekelenburg has discussed his future at Roma.

However, now they want to sign him on loan with a view to a permanent deal in the summer.

Stekelenburg was due to play for Roma in last night's Coppa Italia quarter final with Fiorentina however he picked up a stomach bug and had to return home.
