Fulham are prepared to pay £1 million for Aberdeen youngster Fraser Fyvie.
The Sunday Mail says talks between Dons and the Premiership club have started and should be finalised this week.
Fulham are long-term admirers of the 18-year-old attacking midfielder and considered buying him last summer.
But the highly-rated youngster injured his cruciate ligament last August in a Co-op Cup tie against Alloa and only returned on the final day of the season to face Hibs.
Fyvie's injury problems are now behind him and Fulham are willing to pay £500,000 plus add-ons that will take the fee up to the seven-figure mark for the player who is under contract until 2013.
