Fulham are set to pounce for want-away Watford striker Darius Henderson.

The Mirror says Henderson last night slapped in a transfer request at Watford after the Hornets turned down a £1.5million offer for him from Fulham.

Cottagers boss Lawrie Sanchez has identified the strapping targetman as a replacement for Brian McBride, who is facing three months out after dislocating his knee.
