Fulham are chasing after Southampton full back Matt Targett.

The London side know that defence is their weakest link at the moment, as they are unable to keep enough clean sheets.

And they believe Targett is a man who could change the dynamic of the team.

The 23-year-old helped them get promotion last season, but was unable to return this summer.

The Evening Standard suggests that if Targett were to sign in January, it would allow youngster Ryan Sessegnon to play in the left winger position.
