Dominic Calvert-Lewin netted a brace as Everton claimed a 3-2 win over Fulham.
Richarlison made an immediate return from a three-match suspension by providing an excellent cross to Calvert-Lewin to score after just 42 seconds.
Bobby Decordova-Reid equalised for the hosts with a superb right-foot finish after 15 minutes.
Calvert-Lewin responded to restore Everton's lead with his 10th goal of the season, connecting on Lucas Digne's cross.
Digne turned provider again for Everton's third, this time assisting Abdoulaye Doucoure to head home his first goal for the Toffees.
Ivan Cavaleiro missed Fulham's third penalty of the season after he slipped and sent the ball over the bar.
The Cottagers were done however as Ruben Loftus-Cheek - on loan from Chelsea - scored with a deflected finish.
However, Everton were able to hold on for the last two minutes to condemn Fulham to their seventh loss in nine games.
Carlo Ancelotti's side have moved up to sixth, ahead of Aston Villa on goal difference.
"Every game will be a test but our target is to fight for the top of the table, not the bottom," Ancelotti said.
"We started the season really well and had a difficult period, now the difficult period is gone and we need to have consistency in our results."
