Skysports.com reports Fulham are now the favourites to sign AZ Alkmaar striker Moussa Dembele. Belgium international Dembele had been tipped to join Birmingham City in a £5million deal, with Alex McLeish having been confident of capturing the 23-year-old.
However, the Birmingham boss revealed earlier on Thursday that he had missed out on Dembele after the forward had 'chosen another option'.
West Bromwich Albion and West Ham United have also been linked with Dembele, but it is understood Fulham are set to land the lively frontman.
