Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney open to MLS move

Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney will be playing in the United States with his club in the off-season.

As Fulham are set to take on Brentford, Aston Villa and Chelsea in July in the USA, Cairney has spoken of his fascination with the country.

He admits that playing in MLS one day is definitely on his mind as he considers the next phase of his career.

“Never say never," he told The Mail.

“It could be an amazing experience. I think that's the reason why I'm excited to come [this summer]. I'm excited to see the stadiums, see what it's like, see what the fans are like, the pitches. Because I do find it very interesting, intriguing, the MLS. And it's - I don't know, it's a different way of life. It could be amazing to live out there.

“I feel like it's growing fast."

“'We see it over here, we see it on the tele, we see it in the mornings as we're having breakfast, the highlights. I feel like it's getting better every year, it's growing. It's gonna be interesting to see how far it does go."
