Fulham midfielder Harrison Reed took aim at the attitude of Liverpool's players after Sunday's 1-0 win at Anfield.
Mario Lemina's goal before half-time inflicted Liverpool's sixth consecutive home league defeat and left them facing an almighty task to qualify for the Champions League.
Reed said: "The manager spoke about coming here and winning and the first half was one of our best this season.
"In the second half we had to dig in, put our bodies on the line and we did that. We wanted it more. That was evident from the first whistle and it was a big factor."
Asked about Reed's claims, Reds manager Jurgen Klopp later said: "The winners are always right. What can I say? My boys wanted it.
"Wanted it more? Easy to judge. They have won it, but I don't think that is a problem. I don't have to say we have to fight for this or that. We fight for all three points."
