Fulham midfielder Jean Michel Seri: I'm improving by the week

Fulham midfielder Jean Michel Seri feels his form is improving as he adjusts to Premier League life.

Like any player coming from abroad, it has taken time to adjust to the rigours of the Premier League, but his undoubted quality has certainly been on show in recent displays, helped by a burgeoning understanding with Calum Chambers in the engine room.

“I think we are doing a good job together," Seri told fulhamfc.com. “He's more defensive than me, so I can join the attack, I can go forward, and I know that he's going to stay to cover me. It's a good partnership.

“Physically I'm good. I put in my mind that I have to be stronger, because we have to stay compact first, defend all together well, and attack after. So I have to be prepared and ready for this effort.

"I think we are doing well in the training sessions, and I prepare myself for every game because every game is difficult in this league. This league is very special, very, very difficult, and you have to be ready. Every game, every week, you have to be ready. You have to be ready in the training sessions, you have to be ready when the game starts. If you are not ready, you cannot perform, so I try to be ready before every game."
