Fulham striker Darren Bent was delighted to score in victory over Stoke City.
The 29-year-old striker took his chance after a cross-shot from Pajtim Kasami deflected off Ryan Shawcross and into his path at the back post.
He said: "Stoke's back four is up there with the strongest in the division, especially with (Robert) Huth and Shawcross. They've got a really good partnership and are always difficult to play against. You need those breaks and luckily I got one and finished it off.
"When it came to me and I knew the goalkeeper was going to come flying at me, and Huth as well. I said to myself if I can get past these two then it should be an open goal and fortunately that's what happened.
"It nearly happened again straight after but that time the defender read it."
