Fulham heading for play-offs after West Brom draw

West Bromwich Albion helped their automatic promotion cause after a 0-0 draw.

Albion are playing for a top two Championship finish, as they are second in the league and four points ahead of third placed Brentford, who have a game in hand.

Fulham got a valuable point, which keeps them in fourth place and in the playoff spots.

The Cottagers are already in the playoffs, and will be hoping to take that route to a Premier League place for next season.

The game was a tight affair at The Hawthorns.

Fulham winger Anthony Knockaert came closest to scoring in the game, hitting the crossbar with an impressive volley from outside the box.

Scott Parker's side had hoped to win the game and clinch automatic promotion, but they are now five points behind West Brom with both teams having two games remaining.
