Fulham goalkeeper Sergio Rico expects to return to parent club Sevilla in June.
The 25-year-old is on a season-long loan deal.
“Both for Sevilla and for me the best thing was that I left," Rico told Cadena Ser.
“I am living an extraordinary experience that will help me to return to Sevilla as the best goalkeeper I can possibly be.
“Moving away has not been easy, it is the first time I have left Seville, left my home and I needed to learn the language, to make life in England.
“People close to me have helped me to adapt and it is just a pity that the team have not got the results we want.
“Boxing Day football? It is something different…seeing that my colleagues in Spain are on vacation, but it's nice. It's the tradition they have here in England and the experience is very good."
