Fulham fullback Anderson grateful for Woking loan experience

Fulham fullback Joe Anderson says he's a better player for his loan spell last season at Woking.

Anderson recently signed a pro deal with the Cottagers and told fulhamfc.com: "I'm very confident and I'm in a good position having been out on loan because I became a better player and learned a lot.

"I think the loan system is great. The biggest benefit is that you're playing first team football week-in-week-out and that's what it's all about. Despite the results [the Cardinals were eventually relegated] it was a great experience - one that I really enjoyed.

"I've just got to put in the work and hit the ground running when I come back on the 1st of July. I'll be fitter and stronger. I need to impress the Manager and make sure that I'm part of his plans."
