Fulham are eyeing Leicester City defender Danny Simpson.

Cottagers boss Claudio Ranieri fancies a reunion with Simpson, having won the Premier League together with the Foxes.

The defender is available from Leicester ahead of the January market.

However, Fulham will face competition from Newcastle United for the defender.

For his part, the 31 year-old Simpson is ready to leave for regular first team football.
