Fulham expect Arsenal to try again for Schwarzer

Fulham expect Arsenal to try again for goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer.

The Daily Star says Schwarzer, 37, was disappointed a move to the Emirates didn't materialise during the summer transfer window.

But Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is set to return for the Australia international in January.

Doubts persist over Arsenal's current first- choice stopper Manuel Almunia and understudy Lukasz Fabianski.

Schwarzer's deal finishes at the end of the season and Fulham will consider letting him leave at the turn of the year rather than lose him for nothing next summer.
