Fulham defender Denis Odoi believes he can force his way into the Belgium squad.
The 30-year-old missed the opening two games of the season after being sent off in Fulham's play-off final win over Aston Villa back in May, but has come back into the side and has been arguably Slavisa Jokanovic's best defender so far this season.
Speaking to DH, Odoi said:"Why not [talk about Belgium], but we still have high-level defenders, Kompany, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, they're tough guys, then Denayer at Lyon, Kabasele at Watford and Boyata at Celtic.
"A teammate told me that Scotland was not a big competition, and then Boyata showed the world they had the level, Fulham wanted to buy him but it did not happen. Good for me in the end.
"I played against Watford, Kabasele is a good defender, but is he stronger than me? I do not know, I do not think so, I have the strength and know everyone in this group, there's a lot of friends."
