Fulham defender Calum Chambers is adamant the club are improving despite Saturday's 2-0 loss to West Ham United.
The Cottagers are still bottom of the Premier League, having conceded 42 goals in 17 games.
But Chambers, currently on loan from Arsenal, says the club are making strides under new boss Claudio Ranieri.
"We've improved a lot of things over the last few weeks," Chambers told Standard Sport. "Things are changing, things are looking positive.
"We feel we played alright against West Ham, we created chances but we just didn't put them in the back of the net. We've got to stay together, be positive.
"We've got an important week coming up next week and we have to be ready for that.
"We knew how important a game this was for us. We created a lot of chances and didn't finish them, you can get punished in this league for that."
