Fulham are confident of doing a permanent deal for Chelsea star Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

The midfielder is on loan with the Cottagers this season.

He has been in excellent form as part of Scott Parker's exciting newly promoted team.

According to The Sun, Fulham want Loftus-Cheek permanently this summer if they avoid relegation.

The club believe they can do the deal, as Chelsea are unlikely to want him back next season.

Loftus-Cheek has played 25 times for Fulham this term.
