Fulham are watching Sampdoria defender Omar Colley.
Sky Italia says Colley could be available on a cut-price deal in January, after falling out of favour at Sampdoria.
Celtic, Fulham and other Premier League clubs were interested in the centre-back in the summer, but were put off any deal due to the Gambian international's £10.8m release clause.
Sampdoria boss Claudio Ranieri has preferred Maya Yoshida and Napoli loanee Lorenzo Tonelli as his centre-back pairing this season.
The club will now be willing to sell Colley for less than their previous valuation, as he will enter the last year of his contract in the summer.
