Fulham caretaker boss Scott Parker found positives in their 2-0 defeat to Manchester City.
Bernardo Silva notched his 11th goal in all competitions this term, before setting up Sergio Aguero for a neat finish at Craven Cottage.
Parker said, "That was the way we wanted to play, against a team where ultimately if you give the ball back to them and make the pitch so small, the pitch becomes so big for them and you can't get up the pitch. Certainly the way we wanted to play was through the thirds and we understand the risk that comes with that, and that proved the case with a couple of mistakes.
"I wouldn't change the way we set up or wanted the lads to play, but if there was one thing I was pleased with is the bravery in what they did today because it's quite easy in a football match against a world class team like Man City are to go and hide, play back to front really quick and not pass the ball.
"I know ultimately we lost the came and errors cost us, but I was pleased with certain parts."
