Fulham boss Scott Parker says there's a lot of hard work ahead of them if they're to return to the Premier League.

Parker said there is no easy solution to getting Fulham back on track.

"There's no short fix to creating a successful football club and that's whether it's one in the Premier League or trying to get to the Premier League," said Parker, with relegation imminent.

"Ultimately, short fixes get you there but they don't always keep you there."

Parker can see similarities between relegation with West Ham as a player in 2011, and Fulham now.

"When you are in this position in a club, nine times out of 10 it is the same issues," he said.
